Injection mold after a long time of use or not used for a long time, are easy to produce some small problems, these small problems often lead to the normal use of the mold, so the injection mold at intervals need to repair, find the problem in time to deal with the problem. So what points should we pay special attention to when repairing injection mold? Today, Huanke precision mold engineer will solve this problem for you.
1, pay attention to whether there is rust or moisture in the vent. The problem is usually found to be a broken internal water pipe. Moisture can cause a fatal short circuit to the heater. The chances of this kind of condensation are increased when machines are shut down at night or on weekends rather than running all year round.
2, remember to remind the operator not to "clean" the hot nozzle at the gate - if the operator happens to see a small piece of stainless steel at the nozzle of the mold, it may actually be a nozzle assembly. "Clearing out" this seemingly obstructive thing often destroys hot lips. In order not to damage hot nozzles, check the type of nozzles in the hot runner system before taking action to ensure that all operators are trained and able to identify all the different types of nozzles they are dealing with.
3, slide stop - for the machine running all year round, this work should be carried out once a week.
4. Cross-check the heater's resistance -- You should have measured the heater's resistance when you first started using it, so now is the time to do it again and compare. If the resistance value varies by 10% or more, the heater should be replaced to ensure that it does not fail at critical points in the production process. If you have never measured the initial resistance value, do so now and use the value as a reference for future inspection of the heater.
5, check the guide column and guide sleeve for signs of wear - to find whether there are scratches or scratches and other traces, this wear is due to the lack of lubrication. If the marks are new, you can extend the life of the guide column and sleeve by adding lubrication. If the wear and tear is severe, it's time to replace the parts. Otherwise, the cavity and the core part may not fit well, resulting in different thickness of the cavity wall of parts.
6. Check the flow of water - connect a hose at the outlet of the waterway and let the water flow through the pipe into the bucket. Rust can occur if the water flowing out is not clear or colored, and a blocked flow means a blockage.
If you find these problems, drill all pipes again to keep them flowing (or clean them up using whatever method you use most often). Improvements to the plant's water treatment system could prevent future problems caused by rust and blockage.
7. Clean thimbles -- Over the course of a year, thimbles can become dirty due to gas buildup and membranous impurities. A good cleaning with mold cleaner every six to twelve months is recommended. After cleaning, coat the thimble with lubricant to prevent bruising or breakage.
8. Check whether there are any breaks in the radius of the hot nozzle - breaks are caused by the clamping force of the plastic cartridge assembly from the loose hardened plastic fragments remaining in the hot nozzle of the machine when it is injected forward. The problem may also be caused by misalignment of the center line. Consider both possibilities when finding a fracture.
